If you want to call yourself a car enthusiasts, you must take a video of your car needlessly revving or accelerating hard to prove to the world that you are a massive show-off.

I have a V8. The fact that it is basically the quietest V8 you’ll find anywhere is irrelevant; it is my duty to make a video like this, because that is what enthusiasts who drive V8s do. Now I want to hear yours, whatever it may be. If you have been living in the International Space Station for the last couple years and haven’t made a video like this, use the Youtube at your disposal. But if your car is stock, embrace it. I’m well aware how good P71s can sound, so don’t post a video of one with glass packs if you haven’t touched yours. Now, ladies and gents, start your engines!

I have one good one of my Audi. I need to do a new one of the Mini, since the exhaust note has sort of changed over time. It pops and crackles even more than it used to, believe it or not.

1991 Audi 80 quattro with 2.3L slant-five:

A couple other clips of the Mini. One was right after I did the resonator-delete and was meant as a sound test for the exhaust as well as my camera. The second video is from an August mountain run with myself and 3 autocross friends (all in Miatas). As you can tell, my current camera has real problems with wind noise.

Take a look on the facebook group, I shared a startup video I took a couple years ago (trust me, it hasn’t changed). I’ll try to get a newer one without the door chime this year sometime.

As for the AMG exhaust, nope. I don’t even think the SL73 had an AMG exhaust. The R129 was not given the AMG treatment like the current generations have. Now, the Koenig kits are a totally different story.

This guy can be your source for all things INSANE AMG. He’s my hero. Never met him, haven’t been able to interact with him much, but dear lord if he doesn’t have a collection that makes me jealous. If I had any slim chance at a Koenig SL500, his videos make me pretty damn sure I wouldn’t let it get away.

I’ve got a 1st gen R6, I think its an issue with the trans. Sometimes I’ll click it in, and it will click back out. I know 2nd gear sometimes goes on these trans’s.

i just didnt pull the shifter all the way up...been practicing clutchless shifting and well, sometimes it goes to plan, sometimes it doesnt. more so in 1-2 then any other change,.

A few of the local MOPAR guys I run with from time to time have corsa cat backs on 2nd Gen LXs. They sound amazing. That video doesn't do that exhaust justice. JGarbow has an RT maggy. Your the guy that did an awesome road trip your maggy correct?
